Ratalakia Games has announced that Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel will be released on Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation on 6th October 2024. This game is the third installment in Sunsoft’s 16-bit platformer series, following Aero the Acro-Bat and Aero the Acro-Bat 2. Zero, a character from the first two games, now has his own game where players follow him on a mission to stop Jacques Le Sheets from destroying his home.
The gameplay in Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel is similar to Aero’s titles, with Zero utilizing diving techniques and throwing objects. Retro Faith has been closely following the story of this game due to their love for anthropomorphic platformers. They have already reviewed the first two games in the series and are looking forward to reviewing this one as well.
