Blaze Entertainment tends to announce and release Evercade cartridges in pairs. Since the announcement of The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2, we have eagerly awaited the reveal of the accompanying cartridge.
We now know that the next Evercade cartridge will be The Legacy of Kain Collection 1, featuring the first two Legacy of Kain titles, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. These dark fantasy action adventure games were originally released on PlayStation.
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain was first released in 1996, followed by Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver in 1999. Due to being CD-based games, the release requires Evercade’s GigaCart format, which retails for £22.49 instead of the usual £17.99 price point. The Legacy of Kain Collection 1 will be the second Evercade GigaCart release, following the Tomb Raider Collection 1.
