At Retro Faith, we have a strong love for turn-based games and dinosaurs. When we heard about a new title that combines both, we couldn’t contain our excitement. “Sourge of the Reptiles” is a new turn-based RPG that brings dinosaurs, humans, and elves together after a devastating meteor strike. Developed by Kyoti Games, this game is described as a “party-based tactical RPG set in a low fantasy prehistoric world.”
Inspired by tabletop and western role-playing video games from before the turn of the century, “Scourge of the Reptiles” is set to be released on Steam next year after several years of development. Players will be able to control and ride giant beasts as they explore a vast world with their party, encountering surprising discoveries along the way.
The game features a deep combat system reminiscent of classic tactics roleplaying. Players will engage in battles against powerful reptiles, fierce undead creatures, and various human civilizations. Victory depends on strategic positioning and critical thinking. Lead a party of warriors, sorcerers, and dinosaur companions to face all enemies, whether humanoid or reptilian.
