At Retro Faith, we have a strong affinity for side-scrolling beat ‘em up games, especially the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Therefore, it’s no surprise that we are big fans of Shredder’s Revenge by Dotemu, a modern take on Konami’s classic arcade beat ‘em up.
Recently, the game received a substantial DLC called Dimension Shellshock, introducing new characters like samurai rabbit Usagi Yojimbo and Karai, Shredder’s granddaughter, along with exciting new modes.
Now, with the addition of the Radical Reptiles DLC by developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu, players can enjoy playing as Mondo Gecko and Mona Lisa. Mondo Gecko, a radical surfer and friend of the Turtles, uses his skateboard to deal damage, while Mona Lisa, a reptilian rapscallion, throws chemical concoctions as projectiles.
The Radical Reptiles DLC is available for just £3.29, offering players the chance to explore these new characters and their unique abilities. Additionally, a free update for Shredder’s Revenge introduces a remix mode for the game’s soundtrack, featuring guest collaborators from the chiptune scene.
Whether you decide to purchase the DLC or enjoy the free updates, there’s plenty of exciting content awaiting you in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. Visit Retro Faith for more content and consider subscribing for exclusive features and a weekly newsletter for just £1 a month.
