Today, Revolution Software has released the highly-anticipated remaster of Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars digitally on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Pre-orders for the physical versions, set to release in January 2025 on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, are also available. The original game, known for redefining the point-and-click adventure genre, was first released in 1996. The new Reforged version enhances the original with redrawn and reanimated character sprites and remastered audio. Players can switch between the old and new versions with ease, as well as choose between ‘traditional mode’ and ‘story mode’ for different gameplay experiences.
