Two panels in two states with two different lineups!
We’ve got another double-header this week as we stitch together separate live appearances into a single podcast, both under the leadership of Nadia Oxford and featuring Jeremy Parish and Diamond Feit. First, from Long Island Retro Gaming Expo this past August, the three of us chat about games journalism’s past and how quickly things have changed. For this segment, we welcome David Oxford and Jared Petty to share their own stories as well.
Second, recorded two weeks later at Retro Gaming World in Hartford, CT, the three of us ponder what it means to say a video game “holds up” or “ages well.” If you can’t tell, both of these talks are anecdote-driven but hey, they’re good anecdotes.
Description: Nadia and David Oxford join with Jeremy Parish, and Diamond Feit to talk about the challenges of half-analogue, half-digital game journalism circa 2006 and games that stand the test of time.
