Retro Faith’s New RPG Forge of the Fae Exceeds Crowdfunding Goal

New RPG Forge of the Fae smashes crowdfunding goal

The new RPG Forge of the Fae has reached its crowdfunding goal, making it a success for developer Datadyne LLC. The game features incredible pixel art visuals, traditional turn-based combat, and exploration in a world similar to the popular Sea of Stars from the 90s.

Set in a world inspired by 1800s Ireland, Forge of the Fae has players navigating a conflict between humans and fae. Players follow the journey of Fiora, a young inventor, as she uncovers secrets and navigates a complex mystery. Player decisions influence the outcome, creating a personalized experience.

Currently in development for PC, Forge of the Fae will eventually be available on consoles. The game is set for release in 2026, with a demo available now for early supporters. Supporters can also participate in various tiers, including the opportunity to appear as an NPC or design an enemy in the game.
