One of the character cards for the game features Espio, a fan-favorite Sonic character. With a total of 24 Sonic characters to choose from, players can look forward to an exciting gaming experience.
Espio first appeared in Knuckles Chaotix on the Mega Drive 32X and has since been featured in various Sonic games such as Sonic The Fighters, Sonic Heroes, and Sonic Colors. Sonic Speed Battle is based on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, coinciding with the theme of the upcoming Sonic 3 movie.
