Retro Faith: 10 Fresh Indie Games Debuting at PAX West

As a UK-based company, attending PAX West in Seattle is too far for us, but we are always interested in discovering new indie games. We were excited to learn that indie publisher indie.io will be unveiling 10 new games at the event, happening from August 30th, 2024 to September 2nd, 2024.

Here are the 10 games that indie.io will be showcasing:

1. G.I. Joe – Wrath of Cobra
   Maple Powered Games introduces the first-ever Hasbro Retro Arcade experience with G.I. Joe – Wrath of Cobra. Players can choose from heroes like Duke, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, and Roadblock to fight Cobra forces in action-packed levels, featuring hand-drawn pixel art and classic cartoon cutscenes.

2. Moon Mystery
   Cosmoscouts presents Moon Mystery, a sci-fi FPS game that combines intense gameplay with a captivating storyline.

3. Debtors’ Club
   Mecagames will release Debtors’ Club on Steam on August 26th. This narrative-driven resource management game puts players in the role of a tax collector in a corrupt city hall, where they must meet daily quotas by using various tactics.

4. Pinball Spire
   Pinball Spire is an adventurous game that melds pinball mechanics with Metroidvania exploration.

5. SCP: Fragmented Minds
   The latest SCP game promises a thrilling mix of action and survival horror.

6. The Hungry Fly
   Embark on an adventure exploration game with interactive storytelling, multiple endings, and a haunting atmosphere in The Hungry Fly.

7. Shrine’s Legacy
   Shrine’s Legacy is a homage to SNES-era RPGs, inviting players to explore a vast overworld and engage in real-time battles.

8. SoulQuest
   SoulBlade Studio’s action-packed hack-and-slash platformer, SoulQuest, combines combat with Celtic lore and Arthurian legends.
