Retro Games Ltd. is set to release a mini console based on the ZX Spectrum, joining their lineup of plug-and-play consoles inspired by classic machines like the C64, Amiga 500, Atari 400, and Vic 20.
The ZX Spectrum mini console will launch on November 22, 2024, featuring emulation of both 48K and 128K models, a replica keyboard, 48 built-in games including popular titles like Manic Miner and The Hobbit, multi-region 720 HD output via HDMI, and the ability to play in original or pixel-perfect aspect ratios. The console will also allow users to load games from a USB flash drive, add additional controllers for multiplayer gaming, and comes with a Crash magazine included in the box.
