Lost In Cult, a premium video game book publisher, has announced their latest project focusing on the making of Outer Wilds, the highly praised 2019 adventure game from Mobius Digital. Titled “Outer Wilds: Design Works,” this book allows fans to delve deeper into the game’s development.
The book is being crowdfunded by Lost In Cult and has already surpassed its £30,000 goal, reaching £150,000. This demonstrates the passion fans have for Outer Wilds. Pre-orders are still available for those interested, with an expected release in mid-2025.
There are two versions of the book available for purchase: the Standard and Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition includes signed artcards from the development team, a slipcase, posters, and other extras. Both editions contain over 250 pages of design documents and interviews with the development team. Pre-orders will remain open until November 2, 2024.
