In this game, players control a team of robots on a mission to repair, eliminate aliens, and navigate security systems aboard the space ship ECLIPTIC. Additionally, new gameplay footage has been revealed by Saberman.
The latest update from the website describes the game as follows: “Despite being severely damaged and infested with alien creatures, the technology within the spaceship ECLIPTIC holds the key to a promising future for our world. Players must guide their team of three robots through repairs, alien encounters, and security challenges to reach the bridge, take control of the ship, and bring it back to safety. ECLIPTIC is a blend of turn-based tactical combat and role-playing, inspired by games like Space Crusade, UFO: Enemy Unknown, and the Gold Box Dungeons & Dragons series. The visual style aims to capture the retro-futuristic sci-fi aesthetics of the 1970s and 1980s, reminiscent of movies like Aliens.”
