Delays hit the release of new Evercade hardware – Retro enthusiasts disappointed

New Evercade Hardware hit by Delays – Retro Faith

The release date for the Evercade EXP-R handheld, originally set for July 2024, has been delayed to November 2024. Blaze Entertainment discovered a significant issue with the production run, leading to the delay. This also affects the Evercade TATE Grip, while other Evercade products like the Evercade VS-R home console, Tomb Raider Collection 1 cartridge, and Thalamus Collection 1 cartridge remain on track for their August 30, 2024 release.

Blaze Entertainment CEO Andrew Byatt issued an apology for the delay, emphasizing the importance of delivering a quality product to customers. The decision to delay the release was made to ensure that customers receive a defect-free product.
