The newest addition to the series is VS. Battle City, a version of the game released for Nintendo’s VS. arcade system. Interestingly, the home version of Battle City was released before the arcade version. Originally created by Namco in 1985, Battle City is a thrilling tank combat game where players control a tank and defend their headquarters against enemy attacks.
VS. Battle City was launched for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on September 12, 2024.
