Atari XL/XE Gets a Blast from the Past with Mikie – An Arcade Classic brought to you by Krzysztof “Vega” Góra and his team

Indie Retro News: Mikie - An Arcade classic appears on the Atari XL/XE by Krzysztof "Vega" Góra and team

The exciting news just keeps coming! We have been contacted by a friend on Facebook about the fantastic Arcade game “Mikie” by Konami, with 8-bit versions by Imagine, being ported over to the Atari XL/XE by Krzysztof “Vega” Góra, Michał “Miker” Szpilowski, and Krzysztof “Kaz” Ziembik. In this game, you play as Mikie and must complete a secret message in all levels to deliver to your girlfriend at the playground.

According to the website (translated by Google), “Mikie” for the Atari XL/XE is a hidden gem that Atari fans couldn’t experience for years. After almost 40 years, the team decided to create the game themselves. The team includes Kaz for graphics and testing, Miker for music and sound effects, Mono for problem-solving and testing, Saberman for error checking and suggestions, Giann Velasquez for testing and ideas, and Misha for suggestions on game improvements.
