Golden Code has been updating gamers on their upcoming Amiga game ‘Hyperborea’ throughout 2024. The game promises intense graphics and non-stop bullet and laser action on a stock A1200 or higher. If you’re curious about the latest developments on this game, formerly known as ‘Hyperborea’, check out the new gameplay footage below.

Here are the developer notes for the latest video: “Real bullet hell on a stock Amiga 1200, 304 x 256 PAL 50 Hz, 2p simulation mode, hundreds of bullets but work in progress”.

  • Blinking hitbox on player ships for better visibility.
  • New pseudo-ground enemy mode for more varied gameplay.

  • Flicker shadows for better graphics and performance.
  • Test boss now with 30 colors.
  • Adjustable sound volumes and channels.
  • Prepared for 2-channel music support.
