Aero the Acro-bat 2 swooping to modern consoles next month – Retro Faith

RetroFaith.net recently reviewed Aero the Acro-Bat and its sequel will be releasing on modern consoles on September 6, 2024. Originally released for Mega Drive and SNES in 1994, the game is now making its way to PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch thanks to retro publishers Rataliaka Games and LLC Shinyuden.

The sequel picks up where the first game left off, with Aero defeating Edgar Ektor only to be transported to a magical world through a mysterious magic box created by the villain. Aero must navigate through eight worlds and take down Edgar once again.

When released on modern platforms, Aero the Acro-bat 2 will feature new additions such as rewind and save states in the emulator. It will also have screen filters and cheat menus to assist players in challenging sections. We look forward to providing you with a full review in the near future.
